Williamstown, Mass - The women's crew competed in a six-team regatta at Williams Saturday. The second varsity 8 defeated Bates and Division I Marist to finish second in a four-team race.

The varsity 8 (8-5) defeated Marist in a heat to advance to the final, where the Bombers placed third. The novice 8 also placed third in its race, beating Coast Guard by 18 seconds.

The Bombers will compete at the New York State Championships next weekend. Ithaca is the defending team points champion.
